Something Lost

Welcome to your Adventure Log!

A blog for your campaign

You wake up in a dark room, the sound of chickens rousing you from your stupor. The smell of manure stinging your nostrils. You think back, trying to remember how you got here. At first you have problems figuring it out, but after a few minutes it all seems to be coming back to you. At least the few parts before your whole world went black.

Radeg:
I was between jobs in Everlund, waiting for the next caravan to head South. I had just checked in to the The Stag at Bay. Everything went dark as I was taking my things to the room…

Bengil was leaving an old temple with his party after successfully clearing the goblins that had set camp within the halls. With the exit in sight, the adventurers began talking about what they would spend their payment on. A surviving goblin came into view, gave a crude smirk, and set off an explosive rune on the ceiling. Debris came crashing down and covered the party. Bengil managed to crawl out of the rocks and out into the sunlight. He stared to the sky and everything went black.

After months of effort, Cringlebert had infiltrated the Red Wizards keep. All his planning, all his subterfuge, it all came down to this moment. He inhaled deeply and, with Urn at his side, read the scroll he had went through so much hardship to acquire. The words on the scroll blazed and vanished as the spell took hold, and the entrance to the wizards private tower shuddered violently for just the blink of an eye, then the door swung outward into the keeps courtyard.

Bracing himself he entered the tower. As he and Urn passed through the doorway he felt energy rush into him, a blaze of light, and then there was just darkness.

(New one since I am replacing Liarrah with Aerin)

Aerin looked down towards the ground, watching the oblivious patrol that was below her. She knew she could draw her bow and be rid of them before they ever saw her. She drew an arrow from her quiver, set it, and slowly drew back the composite longbow. Suddenly there was a loud rumbling sound and the ground began to heave. The horses of the patrol below reared up and dropped the soldiers onto the ground. The Elven archer lost her foothold and fell from the tall tree. Aerin knew there was little hope, she was too high, the fall would kill her. She watched the ground speed towards her, almost as if it was slow motion, just before she smashes into the ground everything goes black.

I was traveling from Luskan to Silverymoon after being ran out of Luskan for picking all the locks in Captain Deudermont’s house and leaving them permanently unlocked. And for letting certain shaddy characters know about this prank. Anyways I thought on to a new adventure… Little did I know…
